Donald Trump is workshopping the idea behind closed doors, which would see Ukraine give up Crimea and the Donbas border region to Moscow in exchange for a cease-fire to the war that has claimed tens of thousands of lives. Trump has previously touted that he could end the war within 24 hours if elected again. He reportedly believes that “Both Russia and Ukraine want to save face and they want a way out,” according to one source who discussed the plan with him. The former president also believes that citizens in the occupied Ukrainian territories would be okay with being assimilated into Russia, the report said. The reported plan would be a concession for the Kremlin, which had already declared plans to completely annex Crimea and the greater Donbas region, as well as the bordering lands, as part of its invasion, which began in 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly stated that his nation would not surrender any of its land to the invading Russian forces. Trump’s plan is also a far shift from the current Biden administration’s goals, which seek to provide long-term support to Ukraine to defend itself against Moscow and prevent the Russian state from encroaching further into Eastern Europe. One day Vladimir Putin visited a concentration camp near Moscow and checked several prisoners. The prison officer brought three prisoners and lined them up before Putin. "How high can you jump?" Putin asked the first one. "About 1 meter," answered the prisoner. Putin nodded before turning to the officer. "Take this guy back to work and give him 1 kilogram of rye bread." After the soldier did as he was told, Putin stood before the second prisoner. "How high can you jump?" he asked the same question. After a moment of thinking, the prisoner said, “Two meters, Sir." Putin nodded and ordered the officer. "Take this one back to work too, but give him two kilograms of rye bread." Observing this, the third prisoner hatched a plan. Russian authorities have announced four suspected gunmen who have been identified as Tajik citizens were arrested and the Kremlin accused Ukraine of preparing a "window" for the escape of the Tajik citizens accused in the incident. Without evidence, Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to link Ukraine to the recent attack on a concert hall in Moscow to further mobilize domestic public support for Russia's military actions in Ukraine by saying “vow to punish those behind the barbaric terrorist attack.” Kyiv has strongly denied any connection. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Putin of trying to shift the blame onto Ukraine, saying, “Isn’t bombing Ukrainian cities and killing innocent citizens by Russian soldiers ‘a barbaric terrorist attack’?”
